Once you have completed the design of your experiment, it's time to share it! The Fielding tab lets you set up the link or recruit participants, view fielding status of all your samples and take a closer look at the participant sessions.
Marketplace panel
Sticky is integrated with third party panel vendors to assist you in recruiting the right panelists. Select the requirements you need, and the system will tell you how much it will cost. If there are not enough respondents available based on your targeting options, feel free to reach out to us and we will be able to provide you with a custom bid.
Redirect link
If you have your own panel simply share the experiment link with your participants. Optionally, you can add a custom variable to save additional respondent information or control where you want participants will be redirected after completing the experiment.
Survey Integration
Sticky experiments can be embedded into any web page or web application using JavaScript. It allows you to have truly seamless integration with your existing flow — participants will not even leave your website, and eye tracking will just be part of your survey like any other question.
Follow our step by step directions on how to customise the script to work in any platform that accepts JavaScript snippets.
Pricing
The pricing of your experiment depends on your choice of panel and the number of sessions to be analysed. Your panel determines the number of panel credits, while your data analysis credits pay for processing and analysing session data.
Launching experiment
To be able to see results you have to set a panel size and launch the experiment. Once this number is reached, the received data will be processed and the results generated. You will get an email notifying that the results are ready to be viewed.
Note, all sessions conducted before launching the experiment will become unavailable.
Fielding status
Once you have launched the experiment, you can follow the fielding status progress on the fielding page.
If the number of sessions exceeds your quota, these sessions will be excluded from results. If desired, these can be purchased and included in the analysis later.
If for some reason you need to close the experiment while it is still in the stage of collecting data, expand sample information and click on Close fielding. Results will be generated based on the current number of complete sessions. We do not recommend closing fielding before the quota is full because you will not be able to reopen this sample again after closing.
Participant sessions
This section contains a detailed overview of every session conducted for your experiment.
Here are the definitions of the different statuses that sessions can have:
- Processing. Session data is being processed.
- Complete. All parts of the experiment were completed successfully.
- Disqualified. Participant was disqualified based on their responses to survey questions.
- Terminated. Session was terminated by the participant or for technical reasons either before or during the experiment. Examples include not allowing webcam access, too much head movement, unsupported browser, closing the browser window prematurely, timing out, etc.
- Invalid. Sessions results are unavailable due to a data processing error.
- Excluded. Sessions manually excluded from results.
- Total. Total number of started sessions, including disqualified, excluded, etc
Date and time are shown in UTC format so that the date and time of the session start are converted to the time zone on the user's computer. The participant sessions table is refreshed every 10 seconds.
