With our AOI (Area of interest) editor, you can draw AOIs at any time: after designing your experiment, while in the fielding, or afterward, when you receive your results.
You can add AOIs to any of your media stimuli: videos or images.
When you are in the AOI editor, there are several options on the left panel or sidebar for you to add and edit your AOIs.

Select mediaIn the first section, you can easily choose which type of media to which you wish to add Areas of Interest (AOIs) to — whether it’s an image or a video. Additionally, you can zoom in on the selected media from this section. |

Add and edit AOIsHere you can select different tools for adding and editing AOIs on your chosen media. |

Tools to add AOIs:Rectangle Draw AOIs with rectangle shape on your media. Simply click and drag the mouse to start to draw an AOI on your media. Polygon Select the polygon tool to make an irregular form by clicking and adding points to the shape, just make sure the last point and the first point meet in the same location. Import: Importing a new representation is used on more advanced pieces of media where you need to change the representation of the entire media. |

Multiple tracks
The AOI timeline supports more than just a single track, enabling you to display many AOIs simultaneously. This provides a much better AOI overview and makes it easier to edit them directly on the timeline: Drag AOIs and shorten or widen the length of the AOIs on the timeline.
Playback functions

Audio control: Activate or deactivate the audio of your videos; if the audio is activated you can adjust the volume of the video you want to play. | |
Playback speed: Modify the playback speed to suit your editing preferences. | |
Seeking options: Easily navigate by jumping forward or backward on your videos in 5-second increments. |

TIP: You can move to a particular moment in time by clicking directly on the video frames that appear in the timeline.

Jump to beginning/end: Quickly jump to the video’s start or endpoints. | |
Frame-by-Frame Navigation: Manually advance or rewind one frame at a time. | |

Play/Pause: Play or pause your video by clicking on any of those options. |
AOI History records and stores your activity as you create and edit AOIs, preserving unlimited actions or steps. This tool empowers you to monitor your actions, providing the ability to undo errors effortlessly and repeat previous steps as needed.
